Northfield Center Township voters will have the opportunity to consider a proposed 2-mill road levy on the November 3, 2026 ballot.

If approved, the five-year levy is estimated to generate approximately $485,312 annually to support the general construction, reconstruction, resurfacing, and repair of streets, roads, and bridges throughout Northfield Center Township.

The proposed levy would be collected at a rate not exceeding 2 mills for each $1 of taxable value and would commence in 2026, with the first payment due in the calendar year 2027.

The estimated cost is $70 per year for each $100,000 of the county fiscal officer’s market value.

Revenue generated by the levy would be used to support road-related needs throughout Northfield Center Township, including future road improvements, resurfacing, reconstruction, and repairs.
