The Macedonia Senior Center has a full month of exciting activities, educational programs, social events, trips, and a delicious clam bake planned for October! Whether you’re interested in staying active, enjoying a day trip with friends, or gathering with others for a fun and delicious community event, there are plenty of ways to get involved and enjoy all the month has to offer.

Meals are available for home delivery on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Clam Bake – Friday, October 9th at 11 AM
The Macedonia Fire Department, located at 9691 Valley View Road, will be hosting a Clam Bake on Friday, October 9th at 11 AM. The cost is $35 per person and you must register by October 2nd. Call 330-468-8340 to register.

Virtual Dementia Tour – Tuesday, October 20th
The Virtual Dementia Tour, hosted by Home Instead, is your chance to take a walk in the shoes of those living with Dementia. After experiencing this sensory training, participants have a greater understanding of the realities of what living with dementia is like and can improve communication and care.
The event will take place on Tuesday, October 20th from 9 AM – 3 PM. Call Leah at 330-468-8340 to reserve your 30 minute appointment.
