The Summit County Fiscal Office has completed the 2026 Sexennial Reappraisal, a state-required process that updates the value of all real property every six years to reflect current fair market value.
Value Change Notices will be mailed to property owners in late July 2026. If your property’s appraised value has not changed, you will not receive a notice.
If you have questions about your new appraised value, the Summit County Fiscal Office offers opportunities to speak with an appraiser virtually, by phone, or in person. Please see the meeting schedule in the image above for available dates, times, and locations. The deadline to discuss your value through the informal review process is August 27, 2026. Please note that property taxes based on the new 2026 values will appear on tax bills mailed in January 2027, as property taxes are paid one year in arrears. The adjusted effective tax rates will not be determined by the Ohio Department of Taxation until late December 2026.
