Northfield Center Township would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us on Sunday for our America 250 Celebration at the Gazebo at Old Town Hall! The event was a tremendous success, bringing together residents, families, and visitors for an evening of patriotic music, local history, and community fellowship.
The highlight of the evening was an outstanding performance by Cleveland vocalists Julie Anna Gulenko, Heidi Swinford, Michael Jeffrey Lucas, and Joseph Trumbo, who captivated the audience with a memorable musical tribute to America. Their incredible voices brought patriotic anthems, Broadway favorites, heartfelt ballads, and classic American songs to life, creating an unforgettable performance that brought the community together.
Guests also enjoyed the Historical Society of Olde Northfield's Palmer House Museum Tours and Ice Cream Social, where visitors explored one of Northfield Center's treasured historic landmarks while supporting fundraising efforts for a new furnace at the museum. Families gathered to enjoy ice cream, tour the historic Palmer House Museum, and participate in the door prize drawings, making for a fun-filled evening for all ages.
A special thank you to the Historical Society of Olde Northfield for organizing the museum tours and Ice Cream Social and for their continued dedication to preserving and sharing our community's history. We would also like to extend our sincere appreciation to Stan's Northfield Bakery for generously donating delicious donuts and to Handel's Homemade Ice Cream for donating ice cream for the Ice Cream Social. Their generosity helped make the event even more enjoyable for everyone in attendance, and we are grateful for their support of our community.
