The Macedonia Senior Center has a full schedule of events and activities planned throughout June for local seniors to enjoy. From fitness classes and book discussions to movie afternoons and bus trips, there are plenty of opportunities to stay active, social, and engaged this month.

Book of the Month
This month’s featured book is A Walk to Remember by Nicholas Sparks. The next discussion will take place on Monday, June 15 in the City Hall Community Room.
Medicare 101
Medicare 101 sessions are held on the last Wednesday of each month in the City Hall Community Room. The next session will be Wednesday, June 24. For additional information, call Justin at 216-901-9300.
Special Events
Movie Monday is back beginning Monday, June 29 at 1:00 PM. Seniors are invited to enjoy coffee, tea, and popcorn while watching this month’s featured film, Jerry & Marge Go Large. Click here to view the flyer for additional information!
Join the Senior Center for a Pizza Party in the Park on Tuesday, June 23 at 11:00 AM at Sugarbush Park, located at 916 Ledge Road in Macedonia. Registration is required by calling 330-468-8340. For more details, click here!
Ongoing Activities
Tuesday Tai Chi will be held at Sagamore Hills Park from June through September beginning Tuesday, June 2.
Third Thursday Bingo, sponsored by Grande Village, will now be held at Macedonia City Hall beginning Thursday, June 18.
June Bus Trip Reminders
The Macedonia Senior Center also has several upcoming bus trips planned in June:

Doorstep Meal Delivery
Doorstep meal delivery service is available for seniors at a cost of $20 per person for either Tuesdays or Thursdays, or $40 for both days. Meals are freshly prepared and delivered by volunteers during lunchtime for easy reheating and enjoyment at home. Click here to view the Doorstep Meal Delivery Flyer for additional information.
Sponsored Lunch Reminder
Effective June 1, sponsored lunches will be complimentary only for those attending the sponsor’s presentation at 11:00 AM. Those who choose not to attend or arrive after the presentation begins will be asked to contribute $5 toward the meal. Residents can click the luncheon and meal delivery menu for additional details.
