Kimble Trash and Recycling Services
Northfield Center Township partners with Kimble to provide reliable trash and recycling collection services for our residents. Below are the key details to help you navigate trash and recycling pick-up.

Trash Pick-Up Guidelines
- Collection Day: Weekly, every Thursday.
- Set-Out Time: Place trash at the curb no later than 6:00 AM on collection day.
- Containers: Use the 95 gallon trash bins provided by Kimble. The bright green bin is for recyclables only.
- Placement: Trash bins should be placed within 3ft. of the curb.
Recycling Pick-Up Guidelines
- Recycling Day: Bi-Weekly, Every other Thursday.
- Accepted Materials: Clean cardboard, paper, plastic bottles (#1 and #2), aluminum cans, and glass jars. No plastic bags, food waste, or hazardous materials. Click here for a complete recycling guide.
- Containers: Use the bright green 95 gallon bin provided by Kimble.
Bulk Item Disposal
- Items Accepted: Furniture, mattresses, and large appliances (some restrictions apply).
- Scheduling: 48 hour notice is required. A bulk pick up must be scheduled by scheduling a bulk trash pick up online or via phone.
- Preparation: Wrap mattresses and box springs in plastic; remove doors from refrigerators and freezers. Refrigerator's must have freon removed.
Holiday Schedule
- Trash and recycling pick-up is delayed by one day if a holiday falls on or before your regular collection day. Holidays include:
- New Year’s Day
- Memorial Day
- Independence Day
- Labor Day
- Thanksgiving Day
- Christmas Day
