Northfield Center residents are invited to take part in an upcoming Rain Barrel Workshop designed to help homeowners conserve water and reduce stormwater runoff. Participants will learn how rain barrels work, why they are beneficial for local waterways, and will build their own barrel to take home. This hands-on workshop is a great opportunity to make a positive environmental impact while also saving money on outdoor water use. Residents may also be eligible for reimbursement through the Stormwater Solutions Residential Grant Program funded by the Summit County Surface Water Management District.
