Notice 01-15-2026: Snow Parking Ban in Effect Any Time There Are 2 or More Inches of Snow

Snow Parking Ban in Effect Through January 17, 2026

Northfield Center Township has implemented a snow parking ban effective immediately through Saturday, January 17.

The National Weather Service has issued a Lake Effect Snow Warning, with snow accumulations of 1 to 7 inches expected across Summit County. In anticipation of these conditions, vehicles are not permitted to be parked on township roadways during the ban.

When snowfall reaches two inches or more, this restriction is enforced to allow the Service Department to safely and efficiently plow, salt, and maintain roads.

Residents are asked to move vehicles off the street during snow events so crews can fully clear roadways and help maintain safe driving conditions for all.

Thank you for your cooperation and for helping our crews keep Northfield Center Township roads safe during winter weather.
