There will be a public viewing of the Dorwick Ditch Petition on Wednesday, August 13th at 4:30 PM at 8484 Olde Eight Road, Northfield Center.

The proposed project focuses on repairing and improving the Dorwick Ditch drainage course to better protect the community from future storm impacts. Planned work includes cleaning and removing obstructions, regrading and restoring the ditch, stabilizing banks, and installing stormwater basins. These improvements are designed to reduce erosion, flooding, and scour, while increasing water capacity and enhancing stormwater quality.

The drainage course runs northerly from West Highland Road, across Marwyck Drive, then continues northerly and westerly to Bayberry Drive. Work will also include cleaning tributary rear-yard ditches west of Dorwick Drive, constructing additional stormwater detention basins, and providing easements for access.
